Side Effects:
Side effects are rare but may include swelling, redness and tenderness at the site of injection.

Risks:
Restylane®/Juvederm™ is a safe product. Hyaluronic acid is not considered a foreign substance to the body since it already exists naturally, so there is no risk of a skin reaction.

Duration of Results:
Restylane®/Juvederm™ results are immediate and usually last around 6-8 months. This can vary between patients depending on things like age and area being treated. Recovery:
There is no downtime associated with Restylane®/Juvederm™. Recovery is immediate, although it's possible for patients to experience slight redness, swelling, tenderness or itching at the injection site. This may last for just a day or two, and does not pose a serious inconvenience for many patients.

Insurance:
Due to the cosmetic nature of Restylane®/Juvederm™, insurance usually does not apply.

Virtually none for most people, maybe minor discomfort at injection site.
